About the Author
David Hsu is Director of Business Innovation at the social impact agency Propper Daley. He brings 12 years of cross-sector experience crafting organizational strategy, research insights, and campaigns to unlock social impact. A political scientist with the heart of a community-builder, David is author of “Untethered: A Primer on Social Isolation” and speaks about human connection in the digital age. He previously worked in strategy and complex sales at NationBuilder, the a16z-backed software companythat powers grassroots movements around the world, and was a visiting lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. David is a board member at L.A. Kitchen and advisor for Encore.org’s Generation to Generation campaign. He holds a B.A. from Duke and Ph.D. from Princeton.
