About the Author
David Hsu is Propper Daley’s Director of Business Innovation. He oversees the social impact agency’s growth and brings 12 years of cross-sector leadership in service of change-making companies, NGOs, campaigns, and philanthropists. David previously held roles in enterprise strategy and communications at NationBuilder, the Andreessen Horowitz-backed software company that powers grassroots movements around the world. Prior to that, he was a visiting lecturer in international politics at the University of Pennsylvania and worked at the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. A social scientist with the heart of a community-builder, David is author of “Untethered: A Primer on Social Isolation” and speaks about fostering human connection in the digital age. David is a board member at L.A. Kitchen and advisor for Encore.org’s Generation to Generation campaign. He holds a B.A. from Duke and Ph.D. from Princeton University.
